Your chance to post a realisation you may have encountered for the day which has helped you learn something new about Parkour and life.

Lets not go for any smug or sarcastic things, keep it on topic! =].

I noticed over the weekend that since we have had a baby I have sub-conciously adapted my skills to suit my movement around the house. i find myself moving very stealthfully up n down the stairs when she is asleep without having to 'tip-toe' or move slowly. also when holding her,I am standing up from the floor and sitting to the floor without using my hands, and moving about picking up certain objects, and opening doors, with my feet.

and yeah, life is wonderfully amazing!

Diet...

"Bad foods" now do not agree with me it would seem.

I had some chips for lunch, thought I'd relax and have a 'treat' but my body really isn't liking it! Salads and greens for me please!

So yeah, listening to me body regarding my diet and food intake, and steering well clear of anything that isn't going to be beneficial.

am still trying fellas but i do still love chocolate!! and ice cream....and crisps! all in moderation of course.

another realisation for me though- if it wasnt for parkour training, I wouldnt have got to meet all the people that i now consider as friends, and learnt something from each and every one of them. be it parkour, movement or just something about life.

Just on the way home, thinking how amazing blessed we are to have what we have, regardless of life circumstances, the fact that we are gifted with eyes and ears and our bodies, able and adapatable. It's blooming amazing! So lucky, we shouldn't waste it.
